The GRAMMY Foundation® once again gathered high school students from across the United States to the LA’s University of Southern California Thornton School of Music from July 9-18 for the seventh annual GRAMMY Camp®.  On Thursday, July 14, artists and music industry professionals participated in Guest Professional Day.  Slate Pro Audio owner and CEO Steven Slate and GRAMMY®-winning musician/producer Mike Elizondo were among the industry pros who donated their time and knowledge to GRAMMY Camp®, giving a quick workshop and Q&A session that allowed the campers to learn more about different careers and opportunities in the music world.

GRAMMY Camp® gives students an opportunity to delve into the music industry, with workshops, seminars and hands-on experience unlike they would ever get anywhere else. The camp concluded with a showcase concert at the El Rey Theatre, which was produced entirely by GRAMMY Camp® participants, giving campers a chance to apply everything they learned during the 10-day program.  The NY installment of GRAMMY Camp® kicked off today for the very first time!
