Los Altos Hills - San Francisco Represents At The 30th Annual West Coast Songwriters Conference

The San Francisco Chapter represented in high form at the 30th Annual West Coast Songwriters Conference, held at Foothill College Sept. 10-12.
The conference drew more than 200 songwriters from all over the West Coast, the United States and internationally. Over the course of the weekend, attendees had the chance to play their songs for feedback from music industry professionals on everything from creative form (music, lyrics, performance) to business advice and opportunities (business, licensing and song plugging for other artists).
The Recording Academy San Francisco Chapter facilitated a workshop on making commercially successful music, moderated by Executive Director Chris Wiltsee, and featuring a conversation with songwriter/producers Chapter Governor Louis Biancaniello (Jordin Sparks, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis) and Scott Mathews (the Beach Boys, Roseanne Cash, David Bowie, Eric Clapton).
This was another great partnership between our two organizations and a great kickoff to the fall. For photos of the conference and more information, check out the WCS website.
