Memphis Chapter member Cosimo Matassa to be inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

The Memphis Chapter is excited that New Orleans legendary engineer Cosimo Matassa will be in the 2012 class of inductees in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Joining Matassa as fellow 2012 honorees are the Beastie Boys, Guns ‘n’ Roses, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Small Faces/the Faces, Donovan, Laura Nyro, the late Chicago blues guitarist Freddie King, TV concert impresario Don Kirshner and producers Glyn Johns and Tom Dowd.
Matassa received The Recording Academy's Trustees Award in 2007.
