Nashville - In The Mix: Celebrating Our Nashville Songwriters

On October 18, 2011 the Nashville Chapter presented a mixer for songwriter members. The event was hosted by Board members and renowned songwriters Darrell Brown, Wayne Kirkpatrick, Shannon Sanders, Victoria Shaw, Tommy Sims and Jon Randall Stewart. Despite the rainy Fall weather, guests filled the office with warm cheer as they mingled by the fireplace. Nashville Chapter President Daniel Hill first welcomed the crowd, and then turned over the mic to Vice President Victoria Shaw, who spoke about The Recording Academy’s advocacy efforts,  and host Jon Randall Stewart, who spoke about the importance of membership. Guests dined on grilled chicken and sausages, homemade salads and desserts. Some of those attending included Lynn Anderson, Greg Barnhill, Matraca Berg, Gary Burr, Hunter Davis, Jen Foster, Jeff Hanna and Georgia Middleman.
