What do Gabe Dixon, Jessie Baylin, Madeleine Slate and the Pernikoff Brothers have in common?  They all make great music AND they all performed on March 10 at our In The Mix: Indie Music show.   The Hard Rock Cafe provided the best atmosphere for such an amazing evening of acoustic music “in-the-round.”

Dixon, the host for the evening, opened the show with a new song from his upcoming album One Spark called “My Favorite.”  Gabe performed on an upright Gibson piano.  It provided such warmth and was the perfect accompaniment for his smooth tenor voice.

Next up in-the-round was newcomer Madeleine Slate recently signed to Big Yellow Dog Music.  Madeleine sang as only she can with her unassuming big voice and soft demeanor.

Jessie Baylin followed with amazing harmonies by co-writer Thad Cockrell.   Her songs seeped of affection and emotion completely complimenting her beautiful voice.

All the way from St. Louis the Pernikoff Brothers brought great energy with their mix of eclectic songs and tight vocal harmonies.

Song after song the crowd was utterly charmed by these singer/songwriters.  One audience member summed it up by saying, “I just can’t tell you who I liked the best.  They all completely delivered tonight!”

We are so pleased to provide and highlight amazing artists and shows like this.  The support from the Nashville community and our members is truly overwhelming.  To check out pictures from the event, please click here.
