This summer, 18-year-old pop recording artist Daniela Brooker visited The Recording Academy’s New York Chapter for a Meet & Greet with the staff. She also performed a short, but incredibly impressive three song acoustic set with two members of her band that highlighted her playful yet deep, husky tones. The immensely talented teenager has already developed a loyal and continuously-growing fan base in the United Kingdom and is now making the challenging, yet rewarding transition to the United States music scene.

In just a few short years, Daniela has networked and signed with ex-Warner Music A&R man, Ed Lewis, as her manager, focused on developing her sound, worked like crazy to get essential experience and exposure, and witnessed her “100 percent feel good, mid-tempo pop track” entitled “Turn It Up” play on the UK’s most popular radio show. In talking with her, Daniela Brooker is “focused” and “looking forward to much greater things” in the years to come.
