October 29, 2011 - 11:00am - 1:30pm
The Atlanta Chapter hosted GRAMMY U Kick-Off speed networking event on Saturday, October 29, 2011. The event featured prominent industry leaders in the music community, who coincidentally currently serve on the Atlanta Chapter board. Students were given the opportunity to network with each other as well as the table hosts in an intimate setting with timed sessions with different representatives, per table.
Our panelists shared first hand experiences with the students and offered a more personal, in depth perspective of the music industry from many different facets including law, engineering, music placement, artists management, and booking to name a few.
The event concluded with a pizza lunch which allowed for more networking and student engagement. Our hopes are that we can continue to bring events like this to our GRAMMY U community.
