Joe Stallone practices in the areas of entertainment law, litigation and general business law. As one of the music industry’s leading legal advisors, Stallone has representeda large number of music clients, including Grammy-winning artists, record labels, recording studios, producers, managers and agents. Stallone has guidedhis clients through complex litigation and advisedhis clients on various legal and business matters including management, agency, production, publishing, touring, recording, funding, “do it yourself” business models, compensation, business formation, licensing,and protection of intellectual property rights. Also, Stallone is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics related to his practice such as the creation and retention of an artist team, the protection of sound recordings and musical compositions, copyright and trademark law and the business of music.

Texas music attorney, Tamera H. Bennett, has been helping clients navigate the legal challenges of the music business, for years. Bennett’s entertainment practice specializes in music copyright/publishing catalog administration, and she has clients all over the state of Texas and Tennessee. Tamera is currently on the Board of Governors for the Texas Chapter of the Grammy Organization, a past chair of the State Bar of Texas Entertainment and Sports Law Section, and co-host of the monthly legal podcast "Entertainment Law Update."

Chuck Rainey, an instrumentalist widely associated with soul, pop, funk, and R&B has been a star electric bassist since the '60s.Since the start of his recording career, Rainey's done hundreds of recording sessions, but has also done a fair number of jazz dates as well. He played with Jerome Richardson, Grady Tate, Mose Allison, Gato Barbieri, and Gene Ammons in the late '60s and early '70s, as well as with Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson at the 1971 Montreux Festival. Rainey toured and played that same year with Aretha Franklin. In 1971, Chuck was asked to join Quincy Jones in Los Angeles. This transition took Chuck right into the fold of making records as well as working on movie and television scores. During his time in Los Angeles, Chuck recorded with Steely Dan, Quincy Jones, Marvin Gaye, Ringo Starr, the Crusaders, Hampton Hawes, Donald Byrd, Sonny Rollins, John Handy, and many more. He has over 5,000 recordings out of which 45 were GRAMMY nominations and 12 were winners.

Kris Youmans has been involved with music since the tender age of seven when he first picked up a cello. After graduating from Booker T. Washington in ’95, he started his undergrad at UNT, and booked house shows. He then began working with Denton venues The Argo and Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studio, onto The Granada Theater, to the Loft and South Side Music Hall where he dedicates his time now. Youmans still plays the cello and has toured internationally with Bill Callahan, The Paper Chase, and Sarah Jaffe. In his spare time, Youmans also directs music videos for artists.

Currently a partner in Austin-based management firm, Rainmaker Artists, his clients include some of Texas’ finest - Blue October and Bowling For Soup - and others. He’s also a partner in Primary Wave Music Publishing - home to Kurt Cobain, Steven Tyler, Steve Earle, Hall & Oates, and many more. As a senior marketing executive and general manager in the record business he has worked with Jive, Universal/MCA, Virgin and Sire and overseen marketing campaigns for Tom Petty, Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears, Gorillaz, Rolling Stones, Janet Jackson, Sublime, Live, Ben Harper, and many more.

Affable and down-to-earth Texan, Jaret Reddick, is the front man and main songwriter for Grammy- and Emmy-nominated pop/punk band, Bowling For Soup. The Denton, TX quartet are a worldwide phenomenon with a string of hits including 2006’s “High School Never Ends,” the 2004 MTV and radio smash “1985,” and 2002’s Grammy-nominated “Girl All The Bad Guys Want” to their credit. Consider Reddick a touring expert – he and his band have performed over 3,000 shows since forming in 1984 and played everything and everywhere from clubs to the Warped Tour to co-headlining the Leeds, Reading and Download Festivals in the UK, and throughout Europe, China, Japan and Australia! Reddick and BFS are a TV and movie-soundtrack juggernaut with dozens and dozens of placements and an Emmy-nominated theme song to Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb, which is literally the most widely heard cartoon theme song on the planet. Reddick also voices the recurring character, Love Handel, on the #1 rated show.

Aaron Sainz is a 23-year-old Houston native and the founder of Team Science Records (established in early 2005). Sainz also serves as a tour manager for several regional and national touring acts, all while continuing to oversee the day-to-day operations for the label. Recently, Sainz teamed up with the owner of New West Records to start a new management company, Savory Music, which aids in the development of up-and-coming bands.

Jessica Bailis, current Manager of Digital Marketing & Strategy at Universal Republic, has created an impressive portfolio in her 4½ years on the Universal Motown/Republic Group team. Her previous titles have ranged from Executive Assistant to the CFO/SVP, EVP of Global Digital Initiatives, to most recently, Coordinator of New Media. During her role as Coordinator, Bailis spearheaded Owl City’s 2009 digital campaign, which ultimately led to Owl City receiving the “Single of the Week” on iTunes, and becoming a multi-platinum selling artist. In her current role as Digital Marketing Manager, Bailis handles the digital marketing campaigns of approximately 15 priority projects including Anberlin, Atomic Tom, and Clare Maguire.
