Microphone Listening Lab Live!
Presented by The Recording Academy® New York Chapter and Shure
A good recording starts with a good sound source, and no single element of the audio signal path is as important in capturing that sound as the microphone. Join representatives from Shure at the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at NYU, for a hands-on listening lab, where they will experiment with a broad range of studio recording microphones and learn, by doing, which types of microphones work well on a variety of different sound sources. And if you have a favorite microphone, feel free to bring it along for comparison listening.
