GRAMMY U Demo Review at PNW Studio Summit '12 at EMP Museum
Join producers and engineers as they critique student recordings and provide them with professional feedback.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE OCTOBER 22!
Have you been working on music demos?
Do you want the opportunity for your work to be heard?
Do you want feedback on how to make your work even better?
Then submit your music for the 2012 DEMO REVIEW!
GRAMMY U members are invited to attend this Demo Review with exclusive access to industry professionals. GU members can submit music demos, which they have engineered or produced, to be critiqued by notable local engineers and audio engineering faculty from multiple schools. This event will focus on the strengths and weaknesses of recorded material, focusing on recording technique and sound design more than songwriting. The panel will have the opportunity to hear the recordings prior to the event and the upper tier of submissions will be played back at the event, while the VIP panel discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the recordings by providing helpful insight on how attendees can better their work. Students will then be able to ask the panel questions and network with other GRAMMY U members. This year’s Demo Review will be held during our annual Studio Summit. Panel of judges TBD.
-Email submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org in mp3 format, or provide a link to a download of an mp3 or wav/aiff file. Alternatively you may mail submissions on a CD-R (Must be playable on a conventional CD player) to:
