The most played artist as of two weeks before the Washington, D.C. battle will earn a spot in the battle along with 2 other judge selections!

CBOB is guaranteeing one spot in the local battle to a GRAMMY U band. This is a special opportunity to submit your songs among a smaller pool of GRAMMY U students, increasing your chances of selection for the local battle! Non-GRAMMY U bands will compete against the numerous entries that are submitted on www.collegebattleofthebands.com. Check out the website for more details, however please note the specific entry process for GRAMMY U outlined below.
GRAMMY U CBOB Entry Process
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Monday, April 11 at 5 p.m. EDT
• $25 entry fee per person, includes membership to GRAMMY U
(Entry fee waived for GRAMMY U members)
• Minimum of three songs must be submitted via email in mp3 format to grammyudc@grammy.com.

AT&T is proud to offer regional winners exposure on the world's largest wireless network! Promote your music online now for the chance to compete in the battles, and have your track added to AT&T Radio, and turned into a ringtone! Winners will find their tracks available on the AT&T Radio College Battle of the Bands station, and potentially also as Ringtone on the Media Mall if selected, earning revenue (less carrier and agency fees) every time their ringtone sells!
***SESAC Cash Prizing
In order to be eligible for the prize, contestants must be either (I) affiliated with SESAC as a songwriter or (ii) eligible for affiliation with SESAC as a songwriter (i.e. not affiliated with ASCAP or BMI) (the "Eligibility Requirement"). In the event any single entry consists of two (2) performers, then at least fifty percent (50%) of the songwriters in such performance group must meet the Eligibility Requirement. In the event any single entry is comprised of three (3) or more performers, then at least fifty one percent (51%) of the songwriters in such performance group must meet the Eligibility Requirement.
