How do I add a contact?

From the left hand side of your screen, from the the Upload Content buttons, select Add Contact.

1. Search by Username or First Name or Last Name.
2. You can sort by Chapter, by utilizing the Chapter dropdown and selecting Apply.
3. You may sort through users by page.
4. Select blue highlighted User Name.
5. From that users profile page, select Become Users Contact.
6. Fill in appropriate Elaboration message to user.
7. Select Send.

How do I edit my contacts?

From the left hand side of your screen, from the the Upload Content buttons, select My Contacts.

You can view All your contacts or your pending requests.

To remove a contact, simply select Remove.

When I'm uploading content, the Content Editor icons are blurry. What can I do?

Sometimes when using the Internet Explorer browser the Content Editor icons are blurred out. To correct this, go to your browser menu and select view, select zoom option  and set to 100%.

This will resize your page and allow all the icons to be crisp and clear.

Can I upload multiple photo, audio or video files at once?

Yes, you can add entire galleries of content in the same upload.

Can I upload music tracks that can be downloaded by other G365 Members?

Yes, you have the ability to upload music tracks that can be downloaded by other G365 Members.

You also have the ability to upload music that can only be streamed on the site and not downloaded.

Within each of the content categories (i.e. - Photo Gallery, Video, etc), can I create "albums" to group them by category?

Yes, and you may also tag content so that an association is created between the different types of content.

Can I make comments and/or review on other G365 Member's content?

You can make comments on any content uploaded by G365 Members.

Can I post an event in my Chapter Events calendar?

No, only Recording Academy editors may create events within the Chapter and All Events Section of the Chapter Page.

These types of services can be promoted within the opportunities section of GRAMMY365.

How are the member status updates displayed?

Status Updates, and any other content uploaded from members, will be displayed within the All Members or My Contact tabs on the G365 Home page.

You can always see your personal Status Updates on the Member Content section on your Profile Page.

The most recent entries will be displayed at the top and older entries will pushed to the bottom.

Where would I post an Artist Review?

The Product Reviews section would be an appropriate section to review an artist's work.

You can also make comments off of the member's published audio tracks from their individual Profile Page or All Members or My Contact tabs on the G365 Home Page.

How do I upload audio, videos, or photos to my profile page?

From the left hand side of your screen, from the the Upload Content buttons, select Add Audio, Add Video or Add Photos.

1. Enter Audio, Video or Photo Name.
2. Select Add Media.
3. Select Browse, select file/s, hit open.
4. Hit Upload!
5. Once Upload is complete, select Done.
6. Select Done (again).
7. Enter Description.
8. Enter Tags.
9. Select Post.

How do I update my status?

From the left hand side of your screen, from the the Upload Content buttons, select Update Status.

1. Fill in the "Tell us what you are doing right now."
2. Select Post.

How do I review a product?

From the left hand side of your screen, from the the Upload Content buttons, select Review Product.

1. Fill in Product Name.
2. Select Author's rating from one to five stars (one star being the lowest, five stars being the highest).
3. Select the most approriate Product Category.
4.Enter Tags.
5. Enter Product Review.
6. Upload Product Image (Select Browse, select image, hit upload).
7. Select Post.

How do I review a location?

From the left hand side of your screen, from the the Upload Content buttons, select Review Location.

1. Fill in Location Title.
2. Select Author's rating from one to five stars (one stars being the lowest, five stars being the highest).
3.Select the most appropriate Location Category.
4. Enter Tags.
5. Enter Location Review.
6. Upload Location Image (Select Browse, select image, hit upload).
7. Enter Location: Location name, Street, Additional, City, State/Province, Postal code, Country.
8. Select Post.

How do I add an opportunity?

From the left hand side of your screen, from the the Upload Content buttons, select Create Opportunity.

1. Fill in Opportunity Title.
2. Enter Scheduling options (Publish On dates, Unpublish on dates).
3. Fill in Location (City and State only).
4. Enter Description.
5. Enter Tags.
6. Select Post.

How do I reply to a contact request message?

Currently you cannot reply to a Contact Request Message. Once a contact is approved you can send a Private Message from the Message Center.

If a contact is not approved, due to security measures, you cannot send a Private Message.

How do I send a message to a contact or non-contact?

From the left hand side of your screen, from the the Upload Content buttons, select Message Center.

1. Select the Write new message tab.
2. Enter the username/s in the To Field.
3. Enter appropriate Subject title.
3. Fill in Message.
4. Send Message.

The only way to send a message to a non-contact is through a contact request from the member directory page.

Due to security reasons, you cannot send a private message to a non contact.

Is there a limit to the length of a photo caption?

There is a 60 character limit on photo captions.

How can I update my profile bio?

From your profile page, click on the Edit Tab, then select the Profile Tab.

From that page you are able to update your Websites, Band Names, Stage Name and Short Bio.

Can members edit the background and format of their profile page?

No, members do not have the ability to customize or personalize their profile page look and feel.

Do I have the ability to deny a contact request?

Yes, members have the ability to accept or deny a contact request. If a member denies a request, the sender is not notified of the rejected request.

Is there a pop-up window suggesting tags?

Yes, G365 presents suggested tags based upon key word spelling. Once you start typing your tag it will pop up if it has already been entered into the system. If it doesn't pop up then you might be the first to enter in that specific keyword.

Do I have to separate my tags with a comma?

Yes, please separate key words with commas to assure your tags are entered correctly.

Is there a tag limit on my content?

There is a 1024 character limit for tags.

If you enter more than 1024 characters, your tags will not be saved.
