Chicago - Catching Up With Tegan & Sara

On August 18, the Chicago Chapter had the pleasure of catching up with Canadian indie-pop duo Tegan & Sara during their stop at the beautiful Charter One Pavilion.

The sisters have been playing together since high school, and touring extensively for the past ten years. They spoke about their desire to create something new and different for their fans, their recent work producing for other bands, and their advice for up-and-coming artists.

Tegan & Sara released their latest effort, Sainthood, in October 2009, which was recently shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. The band are currently on the 2010 Honda Civic tour with Paramore, and will be releasing their complete discography on vinyl this fall. You can pre-order the collection here.
