On August 18, the Florida Chapter, in conjunction with the Producers and Engineers Wing, presented the event "Mastering Mastering."  Presented earlier this year in Miami, this edition of the event was held in Orlando at Full Sail University.  Top mastering engineer Herb Powers, whose prolific near 30-year resume includes recordings mastered for Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, John Legend, The Rolling Stones, Justin Timberlake, Usher and many others, discussed mastering both in basic and advanced terms. The event was co-moderated by producer/engineers Pete Masitti and Tom Morris.
