The Florida Chapter reached out to the Latin community in Puerto Rico with its “State Of The Music: Urban Latino” event on July 20, 2011.  Taking place in San Juan at Logan’s Irish Pub, a local live music gathering spot, the panel featured Latin GRAMMY-winning producer Paul “Echo” Irizarry  as moderator along with producer/composer Hiram “Keko” Cruz, “La Mega” 106.9 FM radio personality Jose “Candy Man” Garcia, artist/songwriter Willy Rodriguez of Cultura Profética,  and Latin GRAMMY-winning producer Francisco “Luny” Saldaña.
